In our country, this flower has been spread in cities, ports and rural areas since ancient times. Small gardens are widely cultivated in the yard of the house. However, marigolds have been cultivated commercially in Bangladesh since the 1990s. In different regions of Bangladesh such as Narsingdi Monohardi Upazila, Jessore's Gadkhali, Jhikargacha, Jhenaidah, Chuadanga, Sadar Upazila of Gazipur District, Hathazari and Patia of Chittagong District, Savar area of Dhaka District, this flower is grown at a higher rate. There are many small and large nurseries in our area where various marigold seedlings are available. I photographed this beautiful red marigold flower from Lamia Nursery.
