- Polau rice or any long rice like Basmati or Desmati 1/2 kg.
- One and a half cups of pure ghee.
- saffron,
- A pinch (little) of yolk,
- Pistachio nuts crushed 4/5 tbsp,
- Raisins 20/25, one tablespoon,
- Cinnamon, about two or three inches,
- Cardamom 7/8
- dry dates,
- a cup of sugar,
- Four tablespoons of powdered milk,
- taste like salt,
- Like the amount of water.
- Grind the almonds.
Mix well. Now look at the condition of the rice, see if it has become soft and smooth. See taste. Not too soft and not too hard! If it seems tough, cover it and keep it on low flame for some more time. Ready to serve! I sprinkled some chopped almonds and small sweets on top to make it look nice.
