Hi Blurt people
There’s no sadder sight than an abandoned theme park or tourist town. It’s just not quite right.
Living in one is even weirder. This town would normally be a bustle of activity and excitement. Divers from all over the world. Backpackers arriving and departing to their next adventurous destination.
Now everything is still, empty and just plain weird! I can sometimes walk from one end of the town to the other and only see about 3 or 4 people in a town where normally there would be thousands of people. It is truly an unusual feeling.
Recently there’s been a bit of a pulse come back as slowly they are allowing movement around the island but that really doesn’t bring any real numbers in. Even on the weekend when local people travel from the city to the provinces it doesn’t amount to much.
We keep telling ourselves things will go back to normal eventually but after 7 months you do start to wonder what in the world is really going to happen.
I think people will return. After so long being restrained there will be a massive yearning to get out and explore again
