Tree Tuesday meets sloths!

Happy TREE TUESDAY!!

I love trees of all kinds at all times of year. However the Cecropia tree holds a particularly special place in my heart because when you look up into a Cecropia tree in Costa Rica there is a good chance of seeing a sloth. These are their absolute favourite trees, they love to munch of the flowers.
The trees grow very very tall and it is absolutely neck breaking and aching to look up into the tops to see the sloths and for long enough to get good photos. Worth it though when I see the fruits of my labours.
Oh yes and you have to get up at daybreak to see them awake and on the move much as they like to snooze during a lot of the day.
These photos below are all of three toed sloths, which are the most common in this southern part of Costa Rica,
