We have a lot of late blooming flowers this year, because we had a very late and cold spring.
Among them some beautiful red clover:
It's not a flower we see very often, and one of the interesting thing about it is how the color appears to change at different times of the day, depending on the color value of the sun.
The one above was photographed in the morning, this next one in the evening when the light was more golden:
I thought it would also be fun to see how one of these close-ups would work as an artistic rendition. This was the best of several experiments — trying to capture that "Fall" feeling:
