I found this gem of a rose while sorting through some of my photographs. A variation of it on may have been used on other platforms. I periodically use some of my photos, especially roses to create birthday cards for friends and family and post them on Facebook. I mostly use Facebook to stay in touch with family. I hope you enjoy this gem of a rose.

Many of you may be familiar with my curation project here on Blurt, but I have also been curating publications with my personal account. I usually do this when I have excess voting power not being used, and not a lot of time or energy to spend on Blurt. This also leaves more voting power for @r2cornell-curate. As Blurt continues to grow we will adjust our voting style to curate as many publications as possible.

From running a curation project on Hive and Steemit for almost a year now I know that some publications do not get curated. I have had some users complaining that their publications are not getting curated. This has not been the case here on Blurt, but as we grow this may happen here. I do give my curators full control of which publications they curate. I do not delegate much of my power here on Blurt, except for those curating for me. I hope this allows us to maintain plenty of power for curating. I cannot guarantee every publication will be curated.

Desde hace casi un año que llevo a cabo un proyecto de curación en Hive and Steemit sé que algunas publicaciones no se curan. He tenido algunos usuarios que se quejan de que sus publicaciones no se curan. Este no ha sido el caso de Blurt, pero a medida que crecemos esto puede suceder aquí. They have been curating for me on steemit and/or hive. @priyanarc, co-administrator for my Discord Community, also curates. Thus far I am the only one curating from my personal account.

Recently, @melissaofficial has very recently started to curate for us. @melissaofficial is from Nigeria and I have gotten to know her since starting on Blurt. She is a welcome addition to our team. She is approaching her new role slowly, but soon she will be more active.

Photographs/Fotografías

Because of our cold winters we cannot leave Dahlias in the ground. I have tried digging them and storing in a root cellar but would still lose them. I now leave them in a container overwinter, and bring them out in the spring. I fertilize the second year and the third year I change the potting soil. I hope you enjoy my white Dahlia. I only got a couple of blooms this year because we had a freeze earlier than normal.

Debido a nuestros fríos inviernos no podemos dejar a Dahlias bajo tierra. He intentado cavarlas y almacenarlas en un sótano, pero aún así las perdería. Ahora las dejo en un contenedor durante el invierno, y las saco en primavera. Abono el segundo año y el tercero cambio la tierra de las macetas. Espero que disfruten de mi Dalia blanca. Este año sólo tuve un par de flores porque tuvimos una congelación antes de lo normal.

My next flower is from a red geranium I wintered over in my plant room. I was not going to winter over flowers so I could experiment with growing small potted tomatoes, but I was able to root a stem and it is small enough I think I can make room for it. I will be remodeling my plant room but have so many other things to deal with. I will have more room for growing flowers and vegetables all winter. For now enjoy my geranium flower:

My final photograph is of a pansy, which is usually in bloom during spring and early summer. It does not like the heat.

I am using a Canon EOS Rebel T5 for most photographs, except where noted. I do have an older PowerShot Canon camera that I use from time to time. Wildlife is usually taken by a stationary trail camera that takes photos based on motion.
