My Calendula flowers are one of my favorite flowers to photograph, right up there with roses. I was able to take advantage of the morning dew as this flower was beginning to open. I am hoping to cut back on some of my garden next year so I can plant more flowers. This one self-seeded from the previous year. I usually have many variations of colors.

I have been watching he price of Blurt go gone down since launching, but some people are "dumping" their Blurt. I see that some of the whales who initiated the fiasco of forking steemit and creating hive are selling. One of the whales accused me of planning on dumping his hive-engine token and crashing the price. I own over a million of his tokens, but dumping them just lowers the price I can get for the token, which makes no sense to me. I would rather get the best price possible.

He estado viendo como el precio de Blurt ha bajado desde el lanzamiento, pero algunas personas están "dumpting" su Blurt. Those that are dumping for some reason cannot look ahead at the consequence of their actions. That took place on some of their earlier hard-forks on steemit, and again on their action of creating Hive. In the current situation they are cutting into their own profits. But, they are also creating a buying opportunity for the rest of us here on Blurt.

What I like on Blurt is that instead of the negativity from Witnesses and other whales you will find that the founders, Witnesses, and Discord Moderators are very helpful. They are very positive. I would much rather be in such an environment.

Some users are concerned about the fees on Blurt, yet I do not see it as a major issue because the fees are so low. You should be able to earn the fee back when curating another user. If you comment on my publications you definitely will earn it back and much more.

In my opinion the fees should help keep Blurt stable, and in the long run see growth with the platform. It sure beats the cost of being flagged and down-voted on the other platforms. I have a fairly good reputation on steemit and hive, yet I still receive down-votes with no reasons given. The down-votes and flagging on the other platforms hurts the newer or smaller user, and those who have to withdraw to sell to help care for their families.

Blurt is low enough in price at this time that even those with limited Blurt or Blurt Power can keep most of their Blurt powered-up, to increase their earnings as their wallet grows.

I do not know how many read most of what I write in my blog posts (here and on the other platforms), but when the words begin to flow I just keep clicking keys on my keyboard. Some think short publications are better, but I prefer doing less publishing and provide a lot in a single one. Hopefully your reward is a different view point to consider and more photographs after I am done typing.

Those who have seen my work on the other platforms should be aware that I have a curation project for each platform. Enough time has passed on Blurt that I feel it is time to announce that I have quietly begun a curation project here on Blurt. The account name is @r2cornell-curate. I am not delegating Blurt Power to anyone except some to those users who do work for me on the platform. This has allowed me to have enough Blurt Power to have stronger votes when curating.

We are still working on getting the curation project curating plenty of publications. We look at our followers for @r2cornell-curate as once source for publications to curate. I saw that some users were using R2cornell as a tag so I instructed our curation team to look at the publications using that tag to also curate. In addition to those I created a post-promotion channel on my Discord community for Blurt publications. That serves as an additional source for us to find publications to curate. I think I better close out this section of my post and move onto some photography. I only want to remind you that almost all the time I vote on comments. This is a social media platform, which means there should be a give and take in communication. My vote on your comment should cover fees for some time in your publishing content, commenting, and other activities and so do not let the fees stop you. It would be nice if the fees could be taken out of Blurt Power instead of liquid Blurt.

Photographs/Fotografías

I usually save wildlife photos for the end but today i am going to put it early in the list of photographs I upload. This photo was taken by my trail camera, so at times the quality is not quite as nice as when I use my Canon. I am just starting to see the fawns. Up until now their mothers keep them in hiding when they go out to forage. I had a mother and fawn walk by my office window a few days ago. My view is into the woods so I frequently see different wildlife in the early morning hours. I hope you enjoy this photo.

Here is one of my sunflowers that I usually grow. I have a wonderful mix of colors. Most are the size to be used in bouquets.

My final photograph is of a Zinnia. One of the few flowers that have flowers within the main flower. You will see the small flowers (yellow) at the center.

I am using a Canon EOS Rebel T5 for most photographs, except where noted. I do have an older PowerShot Canon camera that I use from time to time. Wildlife is usually taken by a stationary trail camera that takes photos based on motion.
