I started this post with one of my Peonies. Things were so hectic this year that I did not have the time to enjoy my Peonies. I had bought some roots for a yellow peony (which I never saw before), but somehow lost track of it. I do not recall planting it. I do have small containers that did not get watered and I sure hope it is in one of them and just dormant. But of the three color variations I do have established, this is one that is a joy to behold. Even better I am not allergic to the smell of peonies.

No recuerdo haberla plantado.

It is exciting to watch followers and users from the other platforms find their way here. I did some math on earnings on a publication here on blurt versus a publication on the other platforms for my curation accounts and found that even though Blurt price is currently down I was earning more on blurt for the same type of publication.

I am going to add an edit because I had planned on including some information on the #ulog initiative started by @surpassinggoogle (aka Terry). O am still reading through information on Ulogs, and find it intriguing. Also check out @blurtulogs. @surpassinggoogle also shared with me a link for further reading here: https://medium.com/@cryptoulogs/the-gradual-formulation-of-the-cryptoulogs-colorlesspaper-47b32ad64b4

COME ENJOY THE WORLD THROUGH MY PHOTOGRAPHY/VEN A DISFRUTAR DEL MUNDO A TRAVÉS DE MI FOTOGRAFÍA

Photographs/Fotografías

I actually was able to take a day off last week and went to my daughter's get-away property north of where we live. This is located near a large river called Lake Pend Oreille. There is a lake which is the source of the river as well. The lake is deep enough that there is a submarine research facility on the lake. Back to my day off. These are few and far between. Those of you that know me I work 7 days a week and have done so for many years. Before the Covid-19 virus we were able to take some time off periodically. The day off last week was wonderful and we went out on my son-in-law's boat and went for a long boat ride. We found a sandbar to anchor and do some swimming. Here is a photo of the river:

Volvamos a mi día libre.

Here is a dahlia that I grow in a container. It is a smaller flower-head than some dahlias, and here I share a macro-view of it. I have used some other photos of this flower on the other platforms.

I recently started checking my trail cameras and the following is one of my better photos from the trail cam of a nice male whitetail deer. It was close to sunset so it was captured in infrared instead of color. This is on my daughter's property and only a 5 minute walk from my place.

I do not think I shared any photos on Blurt of my Shasta daisies.

For some I may have saved the best for last. This is one of many photos I have of orange roses. Normally I would place it first, but today I was in the mood for the Peony I shared 1st.

I am using a Canon EOS Rebel T5 for most photographs, except where noted. I do have an older PowerShot Canon camera that I use from time to time. Wildlife is usually taken by a stationary trail camera that takes photos based on motion.

This brings us to the end of this publication. I trust you will find something in it that you enjoy. I am not going to set a schedule for publishing content. There are times I just cannot get to putting together a publication. But, I do hope to continue to publish here on Blurt as it evolves. Thank you.

Gracias.

The flower is always a symbol of beauty. The pink flower is very charming . Our world is full of natural beauty. The river is very beautiful to look at, especially the rows of trees along the river have enhanced its beauty many times.

amazing photography @r2cornell sir

Thank you very much. I am glad you enjoyed.

Welcome @r2cornell

Your photos are lovely... and I love the way we can use photography to tell our stories without necessarily using a lot of words in the process.

Yes, it's nice to see Terry introduce the world of Ulogs to Blurt... it was one of the nice features and ways to get people involved at a "life" level, back on Steem.

Bright Blessings!

Thank you. I appreciate it.

I had little awareness of ulogs on steemit. It looks intriguing to me because some users cannot seem to come up with a niche for them to focus on. ulogs seem perfect for them, and anyone else.

Okay, I saw the flower peonies when I first came here, never knew their name but they have a very strong fragrance I guess. I bought for my home from street shop and they look pretty similar to the carnation but bigger size.

That lake seems gorgeous, I have seen such kind of lake a few days ago when I visited a village. Very pretty photographs.

Your post Made my day...

Yes peonies have a wonderful smell.

That lake is actually the river outflow of the lake. The lake is huge in comparison. On thing that is great in the area is that the rivers are large and very clear.

There's something very unique about your photos that I think give a whole lot of vibe all together. The picture of the deer from your trial is lovely. Keep up the good work.

Beautiful photography. Shared on Twitter with my 11,100 Followers. Are you on Twitter ?
A great place to spread the word on how great Blurt is ....

Thank you very much. No, I am not using twitter. I never was comfortable using it.

Same here.... I started back in 2008 and did nothing for years. Followed a few people retweeted some stuff and then suddenly had 10,000 followers.... so I thought I would use it to share my Steemit, Hive, Blurt and other blog posts. Gets some extra traffic

Maybe I will look at it again. Have to get into winter to have the time.

It’s a great way to share the a Good news of Blurt. If you create a Blurt associated Curation Twitter I will follow you and retweet all your Blurt posts to my 11,000 twitter followers. Let me know.... maybe @blurtcuration would be a good name ? @blurtr2cornell ? @r2cornell ? .... something like that

I will look into this. I wrote myself a note to contemplate and investigate this. A fresh name would probably be best. Thanks

@offgridlife: I created a twitter account @r2cornell_blurt (in order to sign in with my phone I had to use @r2cornellB) this morning. I tweeted this post. And I followed you.

It will take some getting used to. I do not think I ever tweeted, just followed people with a different account.

Awesome.... followed and retweeted with some #blurt hashtags and tags to other Blurt people on Twitter

As usual your photos are really beautiful! That deer just looks so cool! I would like to see one personally one day. Anyway, I hope that you are doing well despite this pandemic. Please take care always and stay safe!

Thank you very much. I was excited when I saw what my trail camera captured. He is a big one. I have been in a blind and had them come within 10 paces and the deer and I just looked into each others eyes. I often wondered if they could hear my heart pounding.

We continue to take precautions because of the pandemic. I only go places where I have to and then wear face-mask and have some hand sanitizer handy.
