I've been working on a series of colorsplash style photos and this one is my latest addition to it. I really like how the vibrant yellow color pops up in this rough texture of the bnw leaves on the background. I think that this subject is best suited in this style where there is a strong contract in terms of texture and color as well.
However, I also feel that the original image is looking more alive with its green leaves. So...
