The importance of photographic composition

Have you at any point can't help thinking about what makes a photograph interesting?

The basic response to it is that the photograph has a focal point. It is fundamentally the main component of a picture. Without it, the picture is only a plain clear space.

As we take a photo, we consciously or subconsciously compose the elements within the frame in such a way that pleases us. Some of us are able to compose the frame with a clear vision of the result that we wanted while some are in a state of discovery. What makes others different is that they are equipped with techniques that make their photography stand out. With photography techniques at our disposal, we are definitely a few steps better in photography. Let me share some of the techniques that I used for my photography style.

Look for an Angle

Essentially think about our eye level as the ordinary review point thus when squatting down and admire something in its own position, we are fundamentally doing the "low point shot".

Cut down your view significantly further down then it will give us the "worm's eye view".

Raise our eye level higher, it will give us the "high point shot".

Even a small object could be viewed as imposing as the photo above. What I did is that I lowered my camera to a point in which I was looking up to the flower. As a result, the flower looks bigger than its actual size.

Allow Space for the subject to breath

Positive space is the region inside the frame where the subject is positioned. While the negative space is the region for the other components in the frame that will uphold the subject.

A picture with such an excess of components that are battling for one's attention is confined and it overpowers the viewer. It is better to keep a single component as the main accentuation while the rest will serve as supporting elements.

Fill the Frame

We needed to dispose of different components inside the scene that is attempting to block the viewer's attention. As a result, we can now fill the whole photography frame with the main subject. Also, there are occurrences that despite the fact that those different components are less of an effect on the image, it's actually better to keep them out of the frame instead. By doing so, the emphasis will be the main subject.
