The busy Bee

in photography •  3 years ago

Today, I was lucky enough to capture a honeybee that's very busy collecting the nectar from this purple flower. It seems that this bee has visited many flowers already. It has gathered some pollens on its legs while some are on its body. They said that bees are most attracted to purple or lavender flowers, I guess they are right about it.

Nature is resilient. It has the power to reclaim the land and make it flourish, or at least try.

When people think of nature, they primarily think of plants. And when they think about plants in nature, they often envision them growing in soil under the sun. But there are other things that can grow in nature too. Plants that grow without any need for dirt or sunlight are called epiphytes. Epiphytic plants grow by attaching themselves to other plants and using their host as a source of nutrients and water. Epiphytes are found primarily in tropical rainforests where there is plenty of moisture and warmth available to sustain plant life high up in the trees' canopy.

Insects are an important part of nature, and they play a significant role in the ecosystem.

We should not think of these insects as insignificant. Their skills are no less than any other animal in the ecosystem.

Insects are not just a nuisance to humans- they can be just as crucial to the environment as any other living organism. Little things like bugs, ants, and spiders play an important role in nature.

Some insects have been found to do jobs that humans would otherwise do. For example, honeybees pollinate plants, flies clean up garbage and mosquitoes help control disease.

Insects are also excellent at making sure there is always a balanced ecosystem in place. Without these small creatures, the world would be filled with rotting food and feces that could cause a large number of diseases or infections!
