"Life as it is" (a short poem)

All I see is all I feel,
A new day of hope,
Or a new silent thought,
Or keep remembering this sorrowful pain.

I am awake, I know me,
This trail of thoughts,
I am alive to be able to love,
I am just the same as I was before.

I am naive, I am me,
I’m warm and excited,
With what is to come,
What can I still be?
