This shot was my 2nd attempt since the first one is too blurry to even call it an image. That's the kind of challenge that I get from a camera that is not really meant for macro photography. I just have to be creative in using the full potential of my camera's full-frame sensor and the high-resolution RAW images that it can produce.
This shot was a result of zooming to the image up to a point where it can be called a macro image. This flower is 1 centimeter in diameter. The zoom was only twice its actual size which is inferior to what a macro lens can do.
Anyway, for as long as I can appreciate the picture as it is then I'm fine with that. Still, I hope that I can get a macro lens soon!
