This time touring the Pumalin National Park in southern Chile, in El Amarillo area. This park was donated to the Chilean government by the North American Douglas Tompkins, the same one who founded the renowned outdoor brand The North Face.
The Pumalin Park has 400 thousand hectares, a very diverse fauna, several active volcanoes and part of the Valdivian jungle.
In these photos we made the expedition to the “Ventisquero Amarillo” , a hanging glacier in the Machinmuhida volcano, walking along this path led us to think about prehistoric times and the course of life. They were 20km in total, always with a view of the huge glacier that gives life to El Amarillo river.

Esta vez recorriendo el Parque Nacional Pumalin en el sur de Chile, en la zona de El Amarillo. Este parque fue donado al gobierno de Chile por el norte americano Douglas Tompkins el mismo que fundo la reconocida marca outdoor The North Face. El Parque Pumalin cuenta con 400 mil hectareas, una fauna muy diversa, varios volcanes activos y parte de la selva valdiviana. En estas fotos hicimos la expedicion al Ventisquero Amarillo, un glaciar colgante en el volcan Machinmuhida, caminat por este sendero nos llevo a pensar en tiempos prehistoricos y en el transcurso de la vida. Fueron 20km en total siempre con la vista en el enorme ventisquero que da vida al rio El Amarillo.
