It's last 2 days for me in the city and it is like a ritual that before I leave me and my son always go out for a dinner. So, last night we did the same, the venue is always his selection since he likes to keep exploring new places. The venue he selected was one the restaurants at the St. Regis hotel. This place is very posh and the restaurants here are also very expensive. For me his wish is always like a command and I like to do anything for him, since most of the time I stay away from him. When I meet him, I like to pamper him in whatever way I can. He is a big-time foodie and enjoys fine dining. Btw, who does not enjoy that provided one is willing to spend. I always keep some additional budgets to spend on his wishes.
Mumbai city in the past few years if you look around you will see that there are lots and lots of sky scrapers coming up. Sometimes it looks like a concrete jungle to me, just like Dubai. Mumbai is also becoming one of the most expensive cities to live in. It also depends on the individual lifestyle. The city is filled with people of all classes and everyone has their own way of surviving in this city. It's not that the lower income people cannot live here. It supports all class of people.
Our restaurant at the hotel was on the 38th floor. When I reached up and took a peek of the building in the area, I could really feel that we were high. There are many taller buildings also then this one. The Palais Royale which is still in work has 88 floors, and the tallest building of the city. There were some disputes in the approvals so the work was stalled and then it started again when everything got cleared.
Here you will see there are so many buildings going higher than the one I am in
Life in Mumbai is always very fascinating. If you lots of money or little money, you will in anyways enjoy living in this city.
