It had been quite some time that I went out on a long drive. Yesterday being a weekend, me and hubby decided to just go for a drive and return back. We started at around 4 p.m. it was still very sunny and hot. We decided to go out of the city on one of the hills and return back.
Look at this road, it's real fun to drive here. There is a speed limit that has to be maintained else you will be caught in the camera and then the fines are very heavy which no one wants to pay. So it's best to drive in the speed limits, which is 100 to 120 depending on some roads.

By the time we reached to the top, it was sunset time and got to see a nice sunset in the mountains
I needed this so desperately. The last couple of days have been so boring, I have not been able to move out much and I miss all my outdoor outings. I am fine with the summers but the problem is that hubby does not like it and these places are far, I cannot manage to go on my own, I need a vehicle and since I do not drive my dependency is on him. It also makes me realize how important it is for me to learn driving and become independent. When I shifted to Oman, I did try learning but then I got scared of how fast the traffic moves and gave up. As it is, it's not easy to get licence here. Hubby managed to get it after 10 months on the 11th attempt. It was so frustrating, but then there was no choice, had to do it with patience.
Anyways today I am happy because tomorrow I am travelling for a week out of the Country and I am so eagerly looking forward to this holiday.
