The Night of Full Moon

It's always nice to soak up in the energies of the Full moon. Last night was full moon and the eclipse also and besides that another one major event was there which was the appearance of Jupiter. The Jupiter was at its biggest and brightest in many years that you could see. Of course, when we say see, it means we would need a telescope, else it will appear like a bright star with the naked eye and it can be seen from only certain parts of the world. I like to see these events but I could not see it from my place. But the full moon as always was gorgeous and glowing.

Yesterday's full moon was called the Hunter's Full Moon. This name is inspired in the olden times with the hunting times. Just before the winters, the hunters would go out hunting to stock up for the long winters, which ideally start from October time. They believed that by this time the harvest is over and the animals have also put on good weight with the harvest, so the hunting would be good.

I did my full moon meditation and rituals to soak up in the energies, I was feeling a little heavy in my heart, probably the high energies were playing around with me. Last night's dreams were also disturbed. Today morning when I woke up, I felt that I needed to do some grounding.

I wish I could travel to the Moon and take a picture of Earth from there just in this similar manner :-) It's one of my fantasies.
