Night Photography : The Milky Way, Stars and UFOS

in photography •  2 years ago

Sometimes you have to drive pretty far outside of the City to capture the stars in the sky. I have found that the best places to see the sky at night is out in the middle of the lake.

The bigger the lake the better. This was Lake Ontario a few summers ago.

It's really great when you can see the Milky Way. It's also amazing to spot the International Space Station fly overhead. The longer you stare at the night sky the more moving objects you can see ... I think most of them are the latest Starlink Satellites.

Pretty soon the sky will be filled with moving stars.
