My daughter recently joined a club at school that is authorized to document school activities through photos and videos. She enjoys being a part of it, especially capturing moments from the school's morning ceremonies. After taking photographs, she edits them and creates videos to showcase the events. She collaborates with her clubmates, and they all contribute to the documentation process. From my perspective, it’s a wonderful club that allows my daughter to develop her creative skills while also being involved in her school community. It's a great opportunity for her to learn teamwork and hone her photography and video editing talents. I’m really proud of her involvement in this club and the work they do together.
My daughter has a deep passion for photography, although she only uses her phone to capture images. Unfortunately, my own camera is broken, so she relies entirely on her phone for now. At school, she is learning how to use a professional camera, but she doesn’t have access to it outside of lessons. The school's camera is reserved strictly for educational purposes and cannot be used for documenting school activities or events. As a result, my daughter continues to use her Samsung A15 for photography.
Despite the limitations of the phone camera, she makes the most of it. The camera’s features are sufficient for her needs, and she has learned how to work around its weaknesses. For example, while phone cameras may lack some advanced settings, my daughter has focused on mastering composition and framing to create visually appealing shots. She understands how to play with angles, lighting, and other elements to make up for the phone’s technical limitations.
In a way, this has helped her become more creative and resourceful. Instead of relying on expensive or high-end equipment, she uses the tools at hand to explore her passion. I’m proud of how she adapts and continues to improve her skills, and I’m excited to see her progress as she learns more about photography.
