Photographic Series: a sky full of stars · Un cielo lleno de estrellas

Hi friends:

Those who have been following my post for a long time know very well that the skies of the island where I live are the cleanest in the world.

With the naked eye we can perfectly distinguish the Milky Way and many of the brightest stars in the sky, but if we spend several minutes looking at the sky and accustoming our eyes to the darkness, we can see the depth of the universe in all its splendor. Today I would like to share with you a series of night photographs so that you can get an idea of what I am talking about. These photos are taken very close to the population center where I live, without having to make long journeys in search of places with little air pollution.

Los que siguen mis post desde hace tiempo saben muy bien que los cielos de la isla en donde vivo son de los más limpios del mundo.

A simple vista podemos distinguir perfectamente la Vía Láctea y muchas de las estrellas más brillantes del firmamento, pero si permanecemos varios minutos mirando al cielo y acostumbrando la vista a la oscuridad, podremos ver la profundidad del universo en todo su esplendor. Hoy me gustaría compartir con ustedes una serie de fotografías nocturnas para que os hagáis una idea de lo que estoy hablando. Estas fotos son tomadas muy cerca del núcleo poblacional donde vivo, sin necesidad de hacer largos trayectos en busca de lugares con poca contaminación atmosférica.
