Our goal will be to go in search of those places that can be compared to suggestive "windows" from which to look out to enjoy a magnificent sunset together.

Of course, the image of the setting of the sun is a ritual that has always been perpetuated, first of all that there was life on Earth. Nonetheless, it succeeds every time in arousing an emotion, even if it is small, making amazement meet in us with a sense of wonder and beauty.

From a balcony, by the sea, on top of a mountain, or simply on the street, a wonderful magic remains, a poetic verse of nature that takes shape in the sky and intoxicates our senses.

Take the road that leads from Ravenna to Comacchio, proceeding parallel to the coast line. At a certain point, after Porto Corsini, you will meet Marina Romea , a small town on the Ravenna coast, behind which lies the brackish lagoon of Pialassa della Baiona .

It is a basin of almost 11 square kilometers made up of ponds, divided into banks and canals and populated by birds of all kinds. Not everyone knows it, but it is probably one of the most relaxing and fascinating places of all the northern shores of Ravenna , especially at sunset when more than in Romagna it seems to be on the banks of some African river.

The sun burns high and colors the water of the valleys with a thousand shades, standing out on the profile of the historic pine forest of San Vitale that draws the horizon filling the eyes of any spectator with amazement.

To separate them just over 50 km away from each other but to unite them, as well as of course the ancient production of salt, the splendid views that at sunset are formed on the water with lively and surprising plays of light .

Along the Adriatic coasts, inside the Po Delta Park , the area between Cervia and Comacchio hosts large natural reserves linked to the production of salt . These are two large natural ecosystems made up of thousands of hectares of fresh and brackish water, populated by flamingos, black-winged stilts, avocets and many other protected species.
