What is the symbol in the squares of your city?

This picture is at the entrance of one of the cities.

This square is called Gharibeh Killing Square.

In ancient times, strangers who entered this city lost their lives because they were not familiar with the entrance of the city.

You must be wondering why strangers mostly died at the entrance of the city?

It was also surprising to me why the entrance square of this city was named after this name.

Until one day I met one of the people who was from this city and I asked him why he chose this name.

He said that in the old days, this part of the city was a very big valley and they must have entered the city through this way.

People who were unfamiliar when they wanted to enter the city would fall into this pit, and because it was lower than the surrounding area, no one would notice them at night and in the dark, and sometimes they would stay there and die.

Over time, when the people of the city saw that anyone entering the city would have an accident due to not seeing this big pit that has become a valley, they decided to fill this big pit with soil and turn it into a square.

And this is how the entrance square of the city was built. They also named them Maidan Gharib Kash, which means the field that kills strangers.

And in the middle of the square, they built this beautiful building, which is derived from the rich architecture of this city and the long history of this city.
