I recently posted one of the photos from Iceland. Although the subject of the photograph was an ordinary tame horse, there were comments on the wild scenography of Iceland in which he was.

This reminded me of that particular part of this beautiful country where the photo was taken. Not far from that place is the famous Kirkjufell mountain and the eponymous waterfall. The scene of that mountain and waterfall can be found on almost all items from Iceland, postcards, advertising brochures. The mountain has experienced a very prominent place and role in the Games of Throne series, and it also appears in numerous other films, series, and music videos.

The place radiates epic beauty. I could talk for hours about Iceland. There is almost no country that has fascinated me more, surprised me, made me think more than Iceland. I can’t wait to get back there one day.
