Mrakonija is a small river that flows into the Danube on the Romanian side of the Djerdap gorge in a location called the Large Boiler. At that place is the beautiful Monastery of Mrakonija, which I have seen countless times from the Serbian bank of the Danube.

Since I don't know anything about this monastery, I ask Romanian users to write us a few words about it. It is located in the shadow of one of the largest monuments in Europe, so somehow all the information about that location pays more attention to the monument itself than to the monastery.
