The first recorded lighthouse dates back to ancient Egypt and 280 BC. That lighthouse burned above the ancient city of Alexandria and was one of the seven wonders of the world.

This lighthouse is much more recent. It was built just a few years ago as part of the exclusive resort and new port of Lustica Bay in Montenegro.
