Hello!

Here we are. No more than a handful of weeks ago, I published my last cycling-themed post. Today I decided to add a series of black and white images, nothing more than a monochrome reinterpretation of some shots taken during a cycling race in June.

Specifically, this time the race is a group of several competitions: a national championship held at the end of June that included four start groups divided by age ranges; two on Saturday afternoon, two on Sunday morning. I moved along the perimeter of the race, trying to immortalize as best as possible what the athletes had to offer.

Unlike previous occasions, the route included an anomaly: the passage through a road normally closed to traffic for heavy vehicles used for transporting marble; a road dotted with short or longer tunnels dug into the hills. Unfortunately, I didn't follow this route, however I managed to reach the exit at the start of the climb planned for the final part of the race. You can see some slices of this scenario in the latest photos below.

And nothing else, I hope you enjoy this photostory.

Enjoy the view!
