The weekend is here, and that means a vacation. And what better vacation than a city of over 3000 years. A city that itself is an archaeological discovery. Nessebar - The Old Town. It is located on a small peninsula that can be reached by public transport, and its entrance is guarded by huge stone gates that have stood for centuries. The old houses had retained their charm, with stone foundations and wood paneling, and the flowers and plants happily dropped their leaves and flowers from the terraces of the people. I arrived at 7 AM, the streets were deserted and the only signs of human presence were a few early fishermen and Glarus. The sun, on the other hand, appearing for the first time on a new day, reflected gently on the surface of the sea, as if calling to the city, to wake up and show all of his treasures.

Archaeological Museum - Nessebar
The Archaeological Museum impressed me a lot, although many of the finds I had already seen in the Regional Archaeological Museum in Burgas.
The reason for this is that the excavations were made on the same territory. There is no difference in beliefs or gods. Some of the questions I had asked myself at the museum in Burgas were answered here, and others were even more ingrained in my mind.
I want you to notice the tombstones, or more precisely one in particular. The plate can't help but impress you. Notice the image. If you compare it with the others, you can see the huge difference between the style and the way it is made.
Looks... Egyptian? With Greek text? How is it possible? At that time, the Greeks were among the first foreigners to settle in Egypt.
And after the conquest of Alexander the Great and the creation of Alexandria, Egyptian culture found its way to the Balkans.
This was perhaps one of the last proofs of the merging of the two cultures at that time.
Let our children not grow up in a terrible world. Together we can make it better. It is our destiny to
suffer from the past, to long for the future, but to forget the present.

I wish I had the resources to travel to anywhere I could. Places like this one would take preference on my list.
You don't have to think like that. Life is to short to think only for cash. For example - pack of cigarettes is someone else's meal or museum entry fee. Same with alcohol.
Perhaps you didn’t understand my point.
