Today I wanted to take stock of the past year. I usually don't have enough time for big posts. And I don't really like to write. And all the more, I don't want to talk about how good or bad this year 2020 was. So I just want to make a selection of the photos taken this year.
It so happened that this year I photographed quite a lot. More often I had to shoot with my phone. But I also picked up the camera from time to time. Quite a lot of photos were taken, but unfortunately there is not enough time to process them all.
So, there will be many more photos taken in 2020. Perhaps they turned out to be even too many for perception. But photos speak a lot without text. So it won't take you long to view this post.
This year I tried to walk often. Most often the walks took place in the evening. Therefore, foggy city landscapes became the opening of the photo year for me.
In addition to evening walks, I also walked on weekends.
This year I occasionally had to fly by plane to other cities. I like to take photos through the porthole.
I have seen many sunrises this year. And sometimes I was able to photograph these sunrises. Morning beauty usually creates a great mood for the day.
In the spring, just before the lockdown in St. Petersburg, I managed to make several photo trips on weekends. I tried to get to the place closer to sunset.
First there was a trip to the embankment of the Gulf of Finland on Krestovsky Island.
Then there was a trip to the beach in the city of Zelenogorsk.
The next trip was to Laskovy beach in the village of Solnechnoye.
Then there was a lockdown. And after the lockdown, summer came. When the opportunity to move freely arose, I again began to visit nature. This gave me many pleasant moments and many photos for the archive.
When I returned to St. Petersburg in the summer, the weather was fine and I again walked a lot around the city. I often walked in the evenings and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets.
In addition to walking near my home, I also went out on weekends for photo walks in the center and other parts of the city.
I spent the autumn in a small town, where I also tried to walk a lot. Most often, they managed to photograph during family walks on the weekends.
After that I had a covid, it became cold and dark. I started taking less photos on evening walks. And what I managed to shoot, I still had no time to process.
This is how diverse and rich 2020 turned out to be in my photographs.
I hope you were interested. And even if not, I managed to make a good collection of photos about 2020. And this is good in itself.
And for those who read this post to the end, my sincere congratulations on the upcoming New Year and wish all the best for the coming year!
I strongly recommend to open the photo in a separate tab to appreciate it.
