This beautiful world has not yet sunk into the terrible darkness of Corona. The sweet call of the birds all around is mildly cool. A strange love in the sweet sun. On such a cool afternoon we went out for a walk. It was a time towards the end of November. It is a ghat on the holy river Ganges in India. The name of the ghat suggests that it is associated with a historical event. Mangal Pandey was an Indian soldier in the British Army. In 1857, an organized army revolt was launched to liberate India from British rule. History has called this "Sepahi Mutiny".
From this cantonment that is Barrackpore started the rebellion by Mangal Pandey. So this Barrackpore is a historical place. And after the name of Mangal Pandey, this ghat is named Mangal Pandey ghat. Along with this ghat, there is a beautiful park which is an ideal place for both children and adults.
This place is our destination. We ate lunch and went out with a little rest. In winter, the light of the day ends early. We rented an auto from Barasat and reached Mangal Pandey Ghat in 1 hour. When we reached the ghat, it was 4 pm. We have about an hour and a half. The feeling of watching the sunset while standing on the banks of the Ganges is rare. And that is our main purpose. We spent some time in a pleasant environment at my wharf.
Going to the park, my niece got up on various rides and had a lot of fun. We also did some photography. Slowly the evening came forward. It was time for the sun to go down. I saw the wonderful view of the sunset for a while. I also took some pictures. It was our turn to return.
