I love to capture silhouettes. These are two of my favourites.
The first one was a paddle boarder coming into shore. Which I just really love the effect and clarity.
The second a father lifting his daughter from post to post.
I love to consider metaphors in most of what I see around me and this second photo struck me as a particularly clear one. It made me consider how we seem to go from moment to defining moment, guided by the paternally loving arms of either God or our higher selves (whichever you choose to believe I guess).
It always seems to fill me with a peaceful calm when I look at it.
