Eating out in Rhodes ~ Was A very interesting & most enjoyable Photo Challenge for me. However, to be completely honest with you all, "Food Photography" is not something that I am particularly good at, mostly because: I don't want to spend my time taking photos, I just want to EAT 😛 the FOOD 😂
However, while on Holiday in Rhodes, some years ago (2013 to be exact). We did come across some really beautiful eating and drinking establishments. Even though access to them did require a lot of walking up and down. There were so many steep interconnecting pedestrianized roads in the Old Town district.
So we usually arrived at these places with a huge thirst and a large appetite, especially after walking in very hot sun. This was very normal weather for most of the Greek Islands at the height of the Summer season. I will now share some of these photos with you all, as it's a good "food memory" day for me 😀 Today.
Enjoy, I wish you could taste the food...

Rhodes Old Town Eating Establishments
- This Tropical looking eating place is called the "Socratous Garden"! I'm not exactly sure what that means in English 🤔
- Further down the road was another unusual place named "Avalon" (below)
- There were many others too! You can clearly see how the road gets steeper and steeper in the distance (see below).
I am not a professional photographer, but the above photos are my own work & therefore ALL these photos are owned by me 👍
