The orb-weaver is spiders that belong to the Araneidae family. As far as I know, there are several types of orb-weaver spiders. For the type in these pictures, it is characterized by a very fat abdomen, hairy or spiny legs, and has 6 eyes. It is not as aggressive as the jumping spider.

The orb-weaver creates webs that not only function as its nest, but also as a place to protect from enemy attacks. Usually, the enemy will not dare to approach the spider's web, because besides being sticky it can ensnare the enemy and it is difficult to escape. In addition, It created silk loops to hold the carcasses of insects that had become prey.
