Shackled minds - Nikon d70 with a more modern lens

I did not have to tweak the settings to get a better picture, just change the lens.

I had a couple of days off farming to spend some time with my wife and daughter, some fun, silly time, just having fun, helping around the apartment, but yes, still going to feed the cats at the farm, birds too, possibly squirrels.
Storks we get a plenty here, so that pic above was on the way back from the farm today. Tomorrow I have to farm again, so will not have the luxury of time on my hands, it is what it is, takes effort, and I have no complaints.
The weather is nice, some of the people on here are superb individuals, I know I do not need to name you, there have also been some great chats, some love, some fun on here, it is a stark cont-trast compared to steemit or hive, and I thank you all for the above.

Back to the £20 camera.

It performs superb with a modern lens that has an inbuilt motor in the lens.
There is no need to buy anything more modern than a d70 full stop. I shall let the pictures speak for themselves.

Here goes.

  1. Apple tree blossom.

.2. Unsure, but as a farmer I should know, but at times do not even know what I planted, till I eat it. 😂

Dandelion, got to harvest them when yellow if you want to eat them, but the roots are ace when mature.

The latest wild stray cat that decided our farm is his home, that makes how many I have no idea, I just feed them, he is becoming tame and loving though. (Around 8 for a guess.)

Something I planted but forgot what it is.

And the stork again.

I have to say, it is a good camera for the age of it, and yes, it is better value at £20 than buying a new one, being hassled into a warranty you do not want, and having money left to buy a lens, yes, it is much better value indeed.

OK back to my more seri-arse posts tomorrow, when I am back to the toil, my wife wanted me to have fun for 3 days, so we are, have.
I hope you have all had a fun time too, keep smiling, and spread some love.

Yes @rycharde, it has depth of vision.

I'm looking forward to trying dandelion flowers and roots one day soon hopefully. That cheap camera is great.

Do you not get dandelion over there? I can send you some seeds if you want, or some syrup made from them, great for a detox agent.

Yes we have plenty here in Australia just not seen any yet on the new block of land I'm on now. Thanks for the offer though bro.

You are welcome brother, any seeds you need, let me know, no charge.

not bad for an 18 year-old DSLR

Dandelion & Burdock, classic old drink - only once have I had it properly made. That industrial stuff tastes of bubblegum.

I mix it chopped up with water and sugar, boil for 4 hours ish, it cures all manner of ailments.
The roots are also superb, but eaten, not boiled.

We were looking at cameras yday for my kid - I used to like setting everything with an SLR - makes you understand what the "auto" features do... and also when you really want them off! Anyway, stupid prices, so will check out any secondhand shops.

btw D70s kinda looks the same - slightly larger lcd screen and diff viewfinder. Else, same weight, same CCD etc ?

My daughter has the d70s, superb camera, larger screen yes, better features yes, can get them for 20 quid here, if you want I can get you one, not a problem, you can adjust all settings on any DSLR same as SLR too, the lens is the most important part, not the camera brother.
