Out for lunch on a work from home Friday. Decided to go have a look at the new supermarket that took over the place of another one. Good that they decided to open 24 hours.
周五在家办公，出去吃午餐。决定去看看取代了另一家超市的新超市。他们决定 24 小时营业，这很好。
Went to the vegetarian restaurant nearby to check out what's the special for the day. It was fried rice and I ordered that.
去附近的素食餐厅看看当天有什么特价菜。是炒饭，我点了。
Sat and waited not very long.

The $4.50 fried rice came. Happy enough with the simple lunch in an air-conditioned place.

After work, I went out to play pickleball. Took a bus and had to get off and change another bus here.
下班后，我出去打匹克球。坐了公车，得在这里下车换车。
I was early and I decided to take a walk at the nearby food centre. Many stalls were close but why are the chickens roaming around. Don't they know there are stalls selling chicken rice here?
我来得早，决定去附近的熟食中心走走。很多摊位都关了，但为什么鸡到处乱跑。他们不知道这里有卖鸡饭的摊位吗？
The host came and we set up the net and started playing.
