Went to a new place to play pickleball last Wednesday. A place called Cambridge Park. I took a bus from Toa Payoh and got off the bus to walk there but Google Maps really took me to a longer walk than necessary. Anyway, I got there still early.
上周三去了一个新地方打匹克球。一个叫剑桥公园的地方。我从大巴窑坐公车到那里，下车走，但谷歌地图让我走了些冤枉路。无论如何，我还是早到了那里。
The small park has different facilities including a children playground with a kind of obstacle course.
这个小公园有不同的设施，包括一个带有障碍训练场的儿童游乐场。
There are also different exercise machines for adults.
成人也有不同的健身器材。
At the side, next to a church, there is a sheltered court.
在教堂旁边，有一个有遮蔽的球场。
It was nice to play pickleball under a sheltered court though the sun glare from the reflection of the building across also made difficult to see the ball sometimes.
在有遮蔽的球场下打匹克球很不错，尽管建筑物反射的阳光有时也使球难以看球。
After playing total of 5 gives for a couple of hours, I left and took bus to go to the club for my usual pickleball session.
在几个小时内总共打了 5 局后，我离开并乘公交车去俱乐部进行我通常打匹克球的地方。
Unfortunately, there was lightning and thunder and we had to stopped. By then I had played 9 games.
不幸的是，后来有闪电和雷声，我们得停下来。还好那时我已经打了 9 局。
So it was time for a quick shower and dinner at the pool side cafe where I just had carrot cake.
