My participation in this 31th Edition:
November 11, 1908, a grand vision begins to take shape in the heart of Bangkok. After the completion of the Amphorn Sathan residential hall, King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) embarked on a new quest: to build a majestic European-style reception hall within the walls of the Dusit Palace. This hall, named พระที่นั่งอนันตสมาคม (Phra Thinang Ananta Samakhom), will be more than just a building; it will be a testament to the king's legacy and a symbol of his reign.
The design of the hall will be entrusted to qualified architects from all over the world. Influenced by the Italian Renaissance and the neoclassical style, its magnificent façade will be crafted using marble from Carrara, Italy, and other exotic materials. Guided by the King's vision, the hands of the craftsmen will bring this grandiose edifice to life over the course of eight years of meticulous work.
This building will also give the impression of conferring a majestic and royal aspect to the birds that will fly over it. 🦅
key-subjects: Monument - Window - Bird
A magnificent building, I noticed about the European style. Thank you for participating and sharing with us the story of the main subject in your photo. I even noticed about the key-subject of your choice, and it seems a good one. So... welcome to the new edition and a big good luck! 😁
