Unbeknownst to me till late Saturday evening when a friend contacted me on Discord, my dormant account was hacked and used to spam Blurt.
I am not a scammer!
My sincerest apologies to anyone who clicked on the link.
It is a good idea to NEVER click on ANY links in a post, comment, Discord group or ANYWHERE that your keys and wallet could be permanently compromised!
ALWAYS keep hard and soft copies of your PRIVATE KEYS somewhere safe, (print a hardcopy and also create a file on your computer) as well as provide the information to a trusted contact for safekeeping. 👩💻💻👨💻
Fortunately with the assistance of the kind and knowledgable staff on Blurt Discord, my account was removed from the COAL list after I changed my password and keys. 💯
Though it gave me a headache, I am happy to report my account has is now successfully recovered.
