Filipino Fashion, Filipiniana Gown

I am wearing traditional Filipino dress
because in this modern era, Filipinas tend to not value our cultures and traditions when it comes to our clothes and how we should properly dress as women in this country. I would like to express this to a number of audiences for a reason that I want to showcase the beauty and the aesthetic of traditional Filipino outfits. This outfit reflects our moral and values as it is often described as prim and proper which the modern generation lacks today.

During the Spanish conquest, the Maria Clara gown, also known as Filipiniana, represented the dignity and purity of a protected indigenous lady. She does not place a high value on the objects showered upon her by fans and family alike, but she does appreciate her parents' dignity and the promise she made to her sweetheart.
