The peace that comes from the Spirit is not contingent on changing circumstances; rather, it points one toward a reliable Savior.
Spirit-filled peace empowers us to go beyond mere observance of peace to become peacemakers. We take the effort to reconcile two friends who could be at odds by reminding them of the qualities they value in one another. Where harm has been done, we assist in restoring balance. We can provide a secure, accepting atmosphere for people who are struggling if we have peace with God, other people, and ourselves. Those who cultivate peace will eventually gain just rewards.
If you are having trouble sleeping, try meditating on Christ's thoughts. His ideas serve as a reminder of the greater picture and the plan that the Lord has for your life. He offers forgiveness, humility, and discernment to help strained relationships get back on track. Jesus replaces financial anxiety with the confidence that He will provide. Worry gives way to peace. It ceases to battle and starts to pray for an ally or foe. A long life is sustained by a spirit-filled peace.
Above all, resting in a genuine connection with God is the key to finding serenity. Peace with God bears a bountiful harvest. Calm takes the place of chaos. Anxiety and striving are defeated by trust and calm. Your passion and purpose remain, but your guilt has vanished. Your Savior, who has risen from the dead, fills your faith with serenity. Even though it seems like He's napping in the midst of your tempest right now, He will wake up to console you. God's peace comes from peace with God.
