Will there ever be Peace

Since the time Covid began in 2020 there has been something or the other going on and it has made life so uncertain for us. Though now most of the Countries have removed the Covid restrictions but still it feels like there is a sword hanging on us all the time which can fall on us at any time. Lately there has again been news about Mumbai Covid case rising. Is this becoming a trend now. Towards this time of the year last 2 years there has been spike shown in cases and then suddenly it peaks and restrictions are imposed.

I am more worried because I have my travel plans both in June and July and I do not wish that my travel gets disrupted in any way. I have made all payments for the cruise, hotels and travel. It would be a big nuisance for me to work on all of this if there is any disruption. Lately the Monkey Pox made some noise but guess it didn't effect people much so it fizzed out. I guess these people on top try hard to aggravate the conditions but people are now getting used to it and no one is bothered to pay attention. Main stream media is shameless, they just act like puppets.

This is going to continuously keep coming to us something or the other. Now that people are not bothered much about Covid, they would keep trying some other stunts to keep people in fear. In my city, as soon as the Ministry announced that no more any restrictions including masks, immediately people dropped everything. This is the psychology of the people, just to follow governments blindly without using their own mind and thinking for themselves. I mean one second before Covid existed for them and the other second it disappeared. For some people it has been more in the head than anything else.

Specially in India, it seems like they do not want people to relax and enjoy their lives, live normal. They want to keep coming up with something or the other. Lately I also heard that they are planning to change the face of Gandhiji from Indian currency to face of Late Dr. Abdul Kalam. I have very high respect for Dr. Abdul Kalam but at the same time. Changing this currency means a huge chaos again. In 2016 when there was demonization of 500 and 1000 Rs notes it was a total chaos and the most suffered were the poor people because they are daily wage earners and they get paid in cash, most of them do not have bank accounts and in interior villages of India it is difficult to access banks. Imagine the state of these people.

During Covid times also similar things happened, the poor people suffered the most, because there was no work for them, no daily income means no food for them also. Why does the Governments not ever think before implementing such absurd practices. It is a disgrace to bring these types of people to power who have no empathy for general public. When they come in power, all that they do is serve the rich and become rich.

I am just hoping and praying that nothing more comes up now that can possibly disrupt our lives again.

Fake tests = fake numbers = fake news = real fear = real tyranny = real deaths.

That's the reality of life :-(

This is a given. When most of these changes and policies are being made, they claim that it is made for 'national interest'. But those that suffers the most and the poor masses. It's such a shame!

I hope we all get to experience peace without any health or economic drama.

You are right but to a great extent I would blame us only for being so resilient and accepting whatever that comes through from them. We forget that without us they are nothing, we are the real power, if only we all realized.
