One of the pride of the northernmost town of Cebu City, Medellin is their People's Park. It is the perfect place to relax and hang out with family and friends.
Since we had some errands at the Land Transportation Office at Medellin, we passed by their People’s Park to get a grasp of fresh air. We talk a quick hike to discover the place.
Medellin People’s Park is a perfect place to go on a hike or jog especially during early morning or late afternoon.
I had a walk at six in the morning. Here’s what the Medellin People’s Park looks like at early morning. Peaceful and quiet, there where not much people apart from the utility personnel cleaning the park.
Kudos to all the people who constantly cleans the place and keep it presentable. Maintaining a clean park is really hard especially when there are other irresponsible park-goers who lefts their trashes anywhere.
Walking around the park made me appreciate their place and the beauty of their town. There are a lot of places to hang out and it is perfect for friends and family bonding.
It is perfect for children since there are a lot of playgrounds and play areas for children.
It was so much fun walking around the Medellin People’s Park you'll see a lot of designs and spots perfect for taking photographs.
Since the town of Medellin is the home of BOMEDCO Bogo-Medellin Milling Corporation which processes sugar all over the province, they have a spot here in the People’s Park that highlighted their design for Christmas. It was so much creative and artistic. I have seen a lot of people post this train all over social media.
Walking around the park will give you a sense of refreshing feeling and peace. There are a lot of chairs where you can sit around and think about realizations in life.
As I walk around, I found this huge Christmas tree in the middle of the park. Since it is Christmas season, you could really feel the Christmas spirit.
Outside the park are a lot of food stalls where you could buy from if you want to indulge in some snacks. I walked around to see the stalls open.
As I walk around, I saw some stores open at six in the morning like this burger shop which is open 24/7. But the other food stalls were still closed.
If I were to rate their park, I would say it is a nine out of ten since it is very-well maintained and clean, it has a lot of playgrounds perfect for children. But for me, it would be better if there would be a security personnel or guard on duty 24/7 to keep the place secure and more safe. Just my two cents.
