Personally, I would not want to have any New Normal and would want that even if after a certain time, everything gets back to normal. But yes deep within I know that certain things will change.
Once the cure of this virus is out then let's see how the Governments take it. This is again another issue, that what type of cure will be out. We are already dreading the Vaccines, which no one knows to what extent it will be safe. We have been understanding about the whole One World Order agenda and all of this is driving us through it. So those few monsters sitting up there are not going to spare this world till they have their agendas fulfilled. The more resistance from people the more play will happen. It is not going to be that simple as many people think , that once the vaccine will be out, things will get back to normal.
Now we are going to be in some or the other crises region wise, country wise, globally at every level and the shifts will keep happening in our lives. I hope the awakening happens at a mass level and that we do not end up in the crippling situation, where we will be no less then puppets for our governments and elites.
The other way I look at it is, that once the solution for the covid is out and people get to know about it, most of the people who are currently fearing this virus like hell will be relaxed and will want to get back to normal life again soon.
We humans also have tendency to forget things fast with time, so with the solution in the market, very soon life will resume back to normal.
I have been reading quite a few post from people of other countries, where I read how life is almost getting back to normal and people have started greeting each other with hugs. This also shows that nothing can win over humanity.
What I am writing is from my Country's view point; i.e. India.
Some Disadvantages I see in the New Normal that can happen are:
The major impact that will happen will be in Travelling, there will be many new regulations and once they are set, they may not be revoked even if the situation eases down. Higher Airfares are sure to be in and may be that will be the new base fares which will be much higher then what we are paying now. Overall travelling will become expensive an cumbersome also.
Some countries may also ask for mandatory vaccination of the virus before entering, that would be one major setback. For a person like me, I will never want to get vaccinated so if any country comes up with such a term then travelling to that country will be a complete cross.
Governments will hike up the taxes. I am saying this for my country, from how things are going. Will not be surprised if there is a Covid Tax introduced and that may stay for a long time.
The drive for digital payments is on a higher side and less use of cash is encouraged, so we may see this as a setting trend going forward with more people making online digital payments.
A lot of scrutiny will keep happening at every level and this may not give us any privacy and a direct exposure to governments in all ways. Which I feel is a big threat. Already there is a feeling that we are getting into a police state. The police have randomly started picking up on people and hitting them. There have been many instances in India where people have been beaten up to death just for some minor mistakes. It's getting like more of a dictatorship kind of situation.
Hospitals have already hiked up prices for their treatments in this covid situation and they may never come down again. These hiked up prices may become the new normal, so overall medical treatment will be an expensive affair. As it is, it's nothing less now.
While there will be some good things also coming out in the New Normal:
People will become more mindful about their health, which will be one very good thing. They will want to avoid visiting a Doctor and this will drive them to take better care of their health.
A lot of people will turn towards Organic farming and growing their own food.
Public places will become mindful about Hygiene levels, specially the restaurants.
I believe that each Country's New Normal will depend on their Government. How much control they want over people, How much they have sold themselves off to the elites controlling this whole pandemic and their money and power greed.
I have been hearing from my friends that back in Oman, life is already getting back to normal and that people are going around like before with taking precautions. It is good to hear that and I am happy that I will be going back home there. As far as India is concerned, yes I am scared right now to be here, there is so much of corruption going on with this situation that people are getting scared to visit hospitals even for any other condition. Some strange laws are passed by the state governments. In my city we now have a new law that we can move around only in 2 kms radius and if anyone found beyond their residence 2 kms radius, the person will be punished. Sounds crazy and scary. We have new rules being introduced every second day.
Rather then reducing the fear, they are imbibing more fear into people. I sometimes feel weird about their intentions and god knows what they would come up with.
Welcome to the New World Order
Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸
It is also basically normal here in Bulgaria just big stores still require masks but most small stores don't care tho they have signs.
In Sofia it is worse but here in Varna, 3rd largest city, maybe 2% of ppl still wearing them all day, but only public transport and pharmacies require it.
If it is better in Oman you should try to go home. Not all countries will accept the regime. In the balkans, only big cities are a problem, so I look on the bright side, I am now really being forced to finally get out so there is that.
Thank God I now have an income and when Blurt price goes up I may be able to save and buy a village house. It is what I have wanted since I arrived in Bulgaria in 2013 but lots of difficulties along the way.
