Many of us possess fundamental freedoms and rights that we just take for granted, including the right to protect our families, the freedom of speech, the right to pursue happiness, the right to practice one's religion, and probably most importantly, the right to life.

However, there is a pernicious and terrible activity known as human organ harvesting that is taking place in some parts of the world that is too revolting for some of us to even comprehend. This is not a scene from a horror film; rather, it is the current state of affairs in nations like Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Liberia. People who illegally harvest organs prey on poor and weak people, placing them in a position to become victims of this brutal trade that destroys families and causes them to worry for their own and their loved ones' lives.

The illegal slaughter of a person and removal of his or her body parts are known as "organ harvesting." This practice can be done for a variety of reasons, including fame and profit, money and power, marriage and prestige, and medical needs such organ transplants. This horrific activity is typically carried out with complete contempt for human life in the name of power and money.

What causes organ trafficking?

People may be duped into believing they are heading to a job or an opportunity, but when they get there, they are compelled or blackmailed into giving up their kidney. People may be tricked into giving it up by being given drugs or being threatened with being left without a way to get home.

However, the distinction between victimhood and crime can be hazy. People may be coerced into having an organ removed surgically and then paid, effectively turning them into criminals under the law for "selling" their organs. In addition, a large number of people genuinely sell their organs in order to settle a debt while still being misled by organ buyers or traffickers who claim that their kidney would regenerate, reducing the health risks of having just one kidney, or offering them as little as promised.

People who attempt to escape acute financial hardship by selling their kidneys may subsequently find themselves in even worse financial straits. One kidney can reduce a person's energy and ability to work, which could reduce the amount of money they would otherwise make from a job. Additionally, they might require additional medical attention, which would incur additional costs.

Alot been said, what do you think about the matter at hand? Is Organ harvesting good whether legal or illegal? God has a reason for giving us this organs. Is it wise for a person to sell his/her organs for money? The world is turning into something else, some people just want to make quick money at the expense of other people's life. Please stay safe out there. The world is wicked.

When organs are removed from people without their agreement, it is called organ harvesting. This dangerous and unlawful action frequently results in death and human rights breaches. Global governments and international organizations have strongly denounced it as a matter of grave concern. God created man so well but sometimes we don't really appreciate this gift, for me I would say selling of one's organ is not good unless your donating to save a loved one. Recently in Nigeria, this is a wide bloody business many people venture into. Exploiting people just like that both the politicians are into it for various means either for sales or rituals. Thanks for bringing up such a post.
