Property Description :
This 10-Acre parcel of recreational land can be found in the Silver River Reserve, in southern Houghton County, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
The area is renowned for hunting. This parcel is a quarter mile away from thousands of acres of Ottawa National Forest Land and just 1.5 miles to the east is the Sturgeon River Gorge Wilderness. Farce Creek, Humbug Creek, Gurgle Creek, Boulder Creek, Tradition Creek, and the Silver River, all tributaries of the Sturgeon River, flow through the Reserve. Nearby Baraga, Michigan on Lake Superior …
Baraga County was named after Father Frederic Baraga, known as the Snowshoe Priest, the Bishop of northern Michigan. The Shrine of the Snowshoe Priest on US-41 between Baraga and L’Anse rises six stories above the Red Rock Bluff. This area is most well known for being close to the Sand Point Lighthouse

Ah living off the grid. Maybe that would be a sort of dream for later on (once my obligations around here could permit me (in time)). It is cool to see all those pieces of lands that you find (I mean some of the prices are incredible!). It is tempting (maybe I will buy something further away eventually...but in Canada :-))
Yeah.. There are lots of good deals out there. I am looking for land for my kids to build their own homes. Here in Canada 🇨🇦 … or maybe back in Italy 🇮🇹… or maybe some place south. 🇧🇸 Like the Bahamas … they love Canadians down there ….
Interesting (same thing for my. A land for my kids so they could have a little something to built on, but here (our country). I saw a few lands, but a little too far north (when it snows, you are either stuck there or can't get there). Trying to find the right balance eventually (big, cheap, accessible, regulations, etc.) If you are looking all the way in Italy (it is magnificent there), I heard tales about abandon cities and stuff that would be available to buy (or get paid to live in it??)
Yeah…I have posted a few in Italy that will pay you $50,000 to move there… I have applied for a few of those but haven’t heard anything yet.
I think I’d rather buy some land on Lake Huron … Georgian Bay 🇨🇦 .
It’s beautiful…
