This morning I stumbled upon this awesome little cabin in upper Michigan.

Looks almost perfect to me.

I think I’d prefer something right on Lake Superior though.

A truly unique and awesome property. The Southern part of the acreage is rolling veneer hardwoods with some birch and oak mixed. The North part of the acreage lies on top of a high bluff which has good access and tremendous views. There is a beautiful stand of mixed maple, oak, birch, and hemlock on this rocky and rugged yet accessible acreage.

The cabin sits below the bluff, but is also on a high plateau in the hardwoods. It was hand built with lumber from the property in 2001 and 2002. The cabin is simple, but comfortable and has many unique features. Maple floor, indoor toilet, propane wall furnace with a thermostat, wood stove, hand built pine cabinets, and much more. ….The hunting is excellent here for deer and bear. This location is also outstanding for snowmobiling, both backcountry and trail riding with easy access to trail #14 just down the road.

Love it for sure. Call me greedy but I do want a high acreage spot and I actually did a lot of field research up in the UP for a baseball league. It's a long term project but I think places like Marquette have value long term. If I could convince the city to help build a multi purpose stadium that would be the core of the league and then get the other cities to do a similar type thing. And then have like 200 Acres of wooded lake front land would be amazing!

Sounds awesome. I ‘ll see if I can find 200 acres +. Stay tuned ….
