The year is halfway over. Do you recall setting any goals in January and did you succeed in achieving them? With each passing New Year, there are promises of a new beginning. Several people make resolves to modify something for the upcoming year as a result of this feeling of starting anew every year. Exercising, losing weight, getting more family time, or giving up bad habits are common New Year's resolutions. However, after January, what will happen to these objectives and well-meaning plans?

According to some reports, the majority of New Year's resolutions stall by February, and up to 80% of them fail altogether. Every year, we set out to live a better life. Why then do these goals fall short of our expectations? How can you maintain your resolutions throughout the entire year? We'll look at several tactics in this post to help you stick to your New Year's resolutions through February and beyond.

Why Is It Hard for Us to Maintain Our New Year's Resolutions? There are several reasons why New Year's resolutions might not stick:

▪️Taking on too much at first is a common reason why we fail to meet our objectives.
▪️Another barrier is giving up after experiencing a setback.
▪️Occasionally, we lack the social support we require to maintain our resolutions.
▪️Other reasons that cause us to give up too soon include lack of time, poor planning, and lack of preparedness.
▪️Moreover, we frequently have expectations that our New Year's commitments must be strictly adhered to, so if we skip one workout, we give up 100%.

But if we learn some methods and approaches to help us stay on course, we can accomplish our objectives. Coming soon are some doable advice on sustaining your New Year's resolutions, such as "becoming a better person!" The best advice for sticking to your New Year's resolutions will be covered in my upcoming post.
