The Old City of Jerusalem is a historic area of ​​0.9 square km in Jerusalem. Inside there are historical places for Muslims (the Al Aqsa Mosque Complex, for Jews is the Temple Mount of King Solomon), Christianity (Church of Thr Holy Sepulchure / Church of the holy graves), and Jewish claims (Temple Mount of King Solomon & Western Wall / wailing wall)

Around the Old City a defensive wall was built by Sultan Sulaiman Al Qanuni (Sulaiman The Magnificent) of the Ottoman Caliphate.
