We are fine. No damage in my town. However, we did at one point take shelter in the basement as one went by our town. Just missed the town! Last night we had 3 tornadoes just in our county last night between 8pm and midnight.

Welcome to the Midwest of the United States. Last year we had an F4 just miss our town. We were able to see it from our apartment parking lot. Hubby tried to catch glimpse of what went by us last night but couldn't see it in the dark. I am thankful the new place has a full basement not just a crawl space. I was quite comfortable down there last night.
More storms tonight and tomorrow but I do not expect them to be as violent.

Oh my! I'm glad you've got a nice basement too, how frightening this must be! That poor town, all gone. How does anyone recover from something like this?
It happens and is over so quick no real time to be frightened. Yeah, I feel so bad for those people.

I remember the tornadoes all too well as a kid growing up in Indiana. One even passed through my dad's farm one year in the seventies. The sky turned this weird green color and as we were in the basement it sounded like a train was passing through the property.
Nothing got damaged luckily as it went through fields.
Glad you're ok, and damn is that a huge chunk of hail.
I grew up in Upstate NY so I am still a bit unnerved when we get bad outbreaks like this.
