Pfizer announced this month it has agreed to acquire Arena for $6.7 billion and looking at the company's profile it is difficult at first to see why they would have done this. Arena is known for Belviq, a weight loss pill which created "disappointing" profits. This is their only drug on the market, so why would Pfizer be interested in them?
Taking a look at what they have in development I can see the company's most advanced investigational clinical program is Ralinepag, being developed for pulmonary arterial hypertension. The product is already licensed, has almost completed its phase 3 testing and will be ready for market next year.
Pulmonary hypertension is a condition of increased blood pressure within the arteries of the lungs. Symptoms include shortness of breath, fainting, tiredness, chest pain, swelling of the legs, and a fast heartbeat. The cause is often unknown and there is no cure.
According to Wiki "The frequency of occurrence is estimated at about 1,000 new cases per year in the United States".
Right then, well this sounds like a terrible investment for Pfizer!
Unless of course they know something we don't about the way in which their vaccine product is playing a role in creating a whole bunch of new pulmonary hypertension cases.
The MSM coverage of this story focuses on Etrasimod, Arena's other drug in phase 3 development (for inflammatory indications and for the treatment of pain associated with Crohn’s disease & UC) because this sounds far less likely to be connected to the side effects of Pfizer's vaccine.
Interesting to note Arena are also in phase 2 development for a few drugs which relate to the cardiovascular system (heart & blood vessels).
Drugs like these are in high demand right now, given the recent spike in blood clots and heart attacks around the world.
Which needless to say is not being attributed to the vaccines:
In the article above (accessible by clicking on the image) they also suggest that "lifestyle changes and additional stress during COVID-19 may be increasing certain people’s risk of having a heart attack."

And if you want to live out the remainder of your days with the best possible chance of optimum health, please avoid pharmaceutical drugs altogether. For every drug in existence there is a natural alternative (which its artificial equivalent was likely based on!)
The trick for these pharmaceutical giants is to own primary drugs which create lots of side effects while also owning the drugs to treat those side effects.
While making sure the secondary drugs have side effects which are treated with drugs they own.
While making sure the tertiary drugs...
