Democratic Party Faces Declining Favorability in Recent Polls

The Democratic Party is grappling with unfavorable public sentiment, according to new data from YouGov and Civiqs polling agencies.

As of January 27, 2025, YouGov reports that 58.7% of voters view the Democratic Party unfavorably, while only 38.3% hold a favorable opinion. Among Latino and Hispanic voters, the numbers show a slight improvement, with 58.1% unfavorable and 39.3% favorable—though the difference is marginal.

Civiqs paints a similar picture. As of February 2, 2025, their data shows that 57% of Americans hold an unfavorable view of the Democratic Party, compared to 35% who view it favorably.

These numbers come amid growing political tensions, fueled by recent findings from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and the heated responses from both Democratic and Republican leaders.

The trend is clear: a growing share of American voters are becoming disillusioned with the Democratic Party.
